Every AI point is a 4-20 mA loop. Its power, cable and IS-barrier budget were sized in Unit 1.

Every Modbus node is an RS-485 drop. Its length, unit load and surge protection (LW-10) live in Unit 2.

Every loop range sits in the %FS golden band. The use-based verdict (control vs compliance) was set in Unit 3.

The station's power is the UPS. VA and battery Ah for the hold-up time were sized in Unit 4.
